Luxury Cars
There's a surprising number of luxury cars in the world. Most people
can name a few with just a moments thought - Aston Martin, Porsche,
Lotus, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Rolls Royce.
Of course what makes these cars luxurious is the fact that 99%
of the world's population cannot afford to buy them. Let's face
it, if you could take one of today's "basic" cars back
in time 50 years, it would seem total luxury. So luxury in this
sense is nothing to do with the actual feel, or trims, seats, accessories
etc. it's simply becomes luxury because it is not common place.
There are a range of cars that are still commonly accepted as being
luxury and that's makes such as BMW, Mercedes, Lexus, Jaguar etc.
These cars are what I would class as "near luxury" based
on the affordability factor or rather should I call it the "unaffordability"
factor. I guess around 2-5% of the Western population could actually
afford such cars which means that still over 95% of families can't
afford one. And that brings me back to the whole reason I put this
site together - to highlight competitions and draws where you can
win a luxury car either for free or for a very small amount of money.
